openEyA version 0.3.1 now available

The new openEyA version 0.3.1 is now available for free download!

This version for the automated recording of traditional blackboard lectures contains the following novel features:

  • bugfix in alsa mixer (for audio test/play and control)
  • added software gain for audio recording (to allow better listening)
  • alsa mixer completely rewritten… (wow!)
  • various small bugfixes

    new release v0.3.0 -improved openEyA

    We are pleased to announce the new release v0.3.0 of the automated recording system: openEyA which runs under Linux O.S. Ubuntu 9.04 and 32 bits machines such as low-cost Netbooks. This new realease has few bugs fixed

    • to account for empty and used disk space,
    • removed already processed recording sessions,
    • fixed progress photo in immediate recording,
    • video device was changing while switching among the tabs).

    It has new features such as

    • software update information,
    • a Webtest tab,
    • v4l support for video test and recording (still under testings), and
    • the photo interval can now be changed via Settings->Recording.

    The Manual was rewritten accordingly.
